Privacy

• Your pasted application: sent over HTTPS to our server and to an AI model run by Cloudflare Workers AI to produce the review. We don’t store it after the request finishes, unless you tick “Save this review”. Then we store your text (including any founder background) and the review for 30 days under a random link, after which they’re deleted.
• Founder background (optional): treated exactly like your application: sent to the AI to produce the review and not stored afterwards unless you tick “Save this review”. We ask for first names or roles only, and automatically strip emails, phone numbers and links before anything reaches the AI. Leave the section empty and nothing about your team is sent.
• Your draft: kept in your own browser (localStorage) so a refresh doesn’t lose it. Use “clear it” on the review page to remove it.
• Rate limiting: to keep the free tool free, we count reviews per day using a one-way hash of your IP address combined with the date. We don’t store the IP address itself.
• Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile checks that requests come from a person.
• Newsletter: if you subscribe, your email is sent to Kit (our email provider). Unsubscribe from any email.
• Pitch videos: the pitch videos page shows thumbnail images loaded from YouTube’s image server (i.ytimg.com). The YouTube player isn’t loaded, and YouTube sets no cookies, until you press play. Then the video is embedded from youtube-nocookie.com (YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode) and Google’s privacy policy applies to that player.
• Contact form: if you send us a message, we store it (and your email, if you give one) only to handle it, and delete it within 90 days. Turnstile and a one-way hash of your IP address are used to limit spam.
• Email: if you write to hello@getplacet.com, your message is forwarded to our inbox and used only to reply and handle your request. Ask us there to see, correct or delete anything we hold about you.
• No ads or tracking pixels. Hosting is on Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs.
